Online counselling Australia-wide, for sensitive, deep-feeling people
Support from the comfort of your own space. Warm, somatic-informed counselling, where trust, safety and human connection come first.
COUNSELLING, WHEREVER YOU ARE
Online counselling Australia-wide
Gentle, meaningful work can happen wherever you feel most at ease. I offer trauma-informed online counselling by secure video or phone for women and sensitive, deep-feeling people, from my base in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast.
You don't need to travel, find parking or sit in a waiting room. You settle into a space of your own, and we begin from there. You don't need to live near Noosa to work together either: sessions are available across Australia and internationally.
What is online counselling?
Online counselling (also called telehealth counselling) is counselling delivered by secure video or phone instead of in a room. You and your counsellor talk, explore and work together in the same way, just from different places. It is sometimes called telehealth counselling, and it suits people who want privacy, flexibility, or the comfort of their own space.
Why counselling online can suit
sensitive people
Many sensitive people notice everything: the light, the noise, the mood in the room. Counselling online lets you choose your own surroundings, so your nervous system can settle before we even begin. When we feel safe, we can say what is true.
You are welcome to meet by secure video from your favourite armchair, or by phone if moving your body helps you settle. Many clients find that a quiet walk, a seat in the sun or a few gentle things around the house while on the phone takes the pressure off, making it easier to open up.
Somatic awareness and parts work translate well to video and phone. Noticing how stress shows up in your body doesn't need a camera. I guide you gently with my voice, and you stay in your own space, at your own pace.
Research shows that online therapy can be as effective as meeting face to face. What matters most is the connection, safety and trust we build together, and that doesn't depend on sharing a room.
Online anxiety counselling
Online counselling for anxiety can help when your mind won't slow down, your body feels on edge, or you carry more than you can name. We work gently with your thoughts, your body and your nervous system, and you leave with regulation tools you can use between sessions.
Online counselling can also support:
Emotional overwhelm, and feeling everything very deeply
Empathy fatigue, giving so much to others that little is left for you
People-pleasing, self-doubt and imposter syndrome
Healthy boundaries, communication and relationship patterns (see Relationship Counselling)
Old patterns shaped by hard experiences (see Trauma-Informed Counselling)
IFS-informed support and parts work, getting to know your anxious, protective or self-critical parts with warmth rather than judgement
Grief and life transitions
If you often feel 'too much', you may be a highly sensitive person. Your sensitivity is welcome here, and it can become a strength.
Australia online counselling that feels human
Online doesn't have to mean cold or clinical. My sessions are unhurried, warm and honest. Beyond modalities, techniques or qualifications, the most important thing in therapy is trust, safety and relationship. I am a degree-qualified counsellor and integrative therapist, bringing evidence-based therapy together with body-aware practices, and you are always met as a whole person.
If you are looking for a counsellor online, or a therapist online in Australia who won't rush you, you are welcome here.
IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
Is Online Or Phone Counselling
Right For You?
Some people prefer meeting in person, which is completely understandable. But connection can still be deeply felt by video or phone. You may find online counselling suits you if:
You keep delaying therapy because life feels too busy, and you need an option that fits more easily into your week without a commute.
You are looking for a warm, relational approach that prioritises safety and nervous system regulation over diagnoses or 'quick fixes'.
You find sitting face to face intimidating and prefer the freedom of a phone call while walking, resting or simply being in your own space.
You feel things deeply, and a quiet, familiar space helps your nervous system settle.
You are living abroad, travelling or navigating life as an expat and want a familiar, grounding therapeutic space.
You want to choose a therapist you connect with, rather than being limited by where you live.
Personally, my own therapists and support practitioners have all been on Zoom because they were based further away, and those sessions have brought so much value to my life.
Wherever you are in Australia
If you are searching for online counselling Brisbane, you can meet with me from home and receive the same unhurried support. The same goes for Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, regional towns and everywhere in between. Living overseas, travelling or an expat? Get in touch and we can talk through time zones.

Starting therapy remotely is simple and flexible.
1.
Send an enquiry.
Tell me a little about what is bringing you here. I reply personally.
2.
Book your first session.
Once we know it is a good fit, we book a time that suits you, and you choose a secure video session or a phone call.
3.
Join online.
You join your telehealth counselling session by secure link from a private, comfortable space, on any device with a camera and internet. There is no special software to learn, and if the technology lets us down, we simply switch to the phone.
