FEATURED IN

Hi, I'm Alana, a Sunshine Coast counsellor and therapist based in Noosa.

It's lovely to meet you, and welcome to Alana Grace Counselling.

I'm a degree-qualified counsellor and integrative therapist. I bring evidence-based therapy together with body-aware, nervous system practices, shaped by more than a decade in the healing arts, including yoga, Ayurveda and meditation.

My work is gentle, trauma-informed and unhurried. It is a space where you can feel heard, seen and understood, and explore at your own pace without judgement. Together, we can untangle the knots, whether that is anxiety, relationship patterns, emotional overwhelm, or the tiredness that comes from feeling everything so deeply.

A Gentle Space for Healing

In the quiet space between pain and healing lies an invitation: to pause, to feel, and to begin again. Here, your inner world is met with compassion and every emotion is honoured.

I offer trauma-informed online counselling across Australia, from my base in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. That includes anxiety counselling and support through emotional overwhelm, relationships and self-doubt. If you are searching for counselling Sunshine Coast, you are welcome here: my Noosa counselling services are all held online, so you can meet with me from wherever feels calm and safe. It is a space made for highly sensitive people and deep feelers in particular. Through somatic, body-aware practices and strengths-based support, we gently soften the grip of stress and make room for clarity, self-trust and hope.

Ways to Work With Me

Relationship Counselling

Online support for the relationships that matter, including the one you have with yourself. When you feel things deeply, relationships can bring both great connection and overwhelm. Together we look at your patterns, attachment style and communication, and build understanding, trust and self-belief.

Trauma-Informed Counselling

Gentle, online and paced to your nervous system. For anxiety, emotional overwhelm, empathy fatigue, grief, and old patterns that still run the show. We work with the body as well as the mind, and never rush what needs time.

IFS Therapy

Currently completing IFS Level 1 training

A kind way to get to know the different parts of you: the part that pleases, the part that worries, the part that carries it all. Offered online, at your pace, and well suited to people who feel things deeply.

If You Feel Things Deeply

You notice everything: the light, the mood in the room, the thing that was left unsaid. You feel other people’s feelings as if they were your own, and sometimes you end up running on empty.

If you have ever been told you are ‘too sensitive’ or ‘too much’, please know that you may simply be a highly sensitive person. It is a natural trait, not a flaw, and it can become one of your greatest strengths. When we feel safe, our sensitivity can soften from a weight into a gift.

What might change if your sensitivity were welcomed, rather than managed?

Beyond Counselling

  • A woman in a gray sports bra and matching leggings is practicing yoga indoors, sitting cross-legged on a yoga mat with her hands in a prayer position.

    Yoga and mindfulness

Yoga is how I first turned inward, and it is still a daily practice. It shapes how I work with the body and the nervous system, and why I trust slowness.

    Writing

I write about emotional wellbeing, and I am the author of children's stories about hope. Writing is another way I try to offer a little light. (Link: Journal)
