FAQ’s
-
I am an integrative relationship counsellor supporting adults, teens, and young adults, including individuals completely new to therapy or those seeking a holistic, trauma-informed space.
Many of the people I work with are sensitive souls and deep thinkers navigating emotional overwhelm, past trauma, or simply feeling things deeply. I support individuals in understanding communication patterns and relational dynamics, as well as moving through relationship challenges, separation, repair, change, life and family transitions.
I help people untangle the knots, feel less alone, and feel supported through building communication skills, compassion, and nervous system regulation.
International & Cross-Cultural Support
I bring cross-cultural experience to my practice and truly love working with people internationally. Having worked internationally in wellness for years, I enjoy both the cultural similarities and differences. If you are ever unsure about timezones, feel free to get in touch and I can help.
NDIS Support
Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants are warmly welcome.

It’s completely normal to feel unsure or a little anxious before a first therapy session — whether you’ve never been before, or you’re returning and hoping to find the right fit.
Our first session is a chance to gently explore what has brought you here and see whether I’m the right person to support you. You don’t need to have the perfect words or a clear explanation — part of my role is to help you make sense of that. Some people come with something specific they’d like to work on, while others notice patterns or themes but aren’t quite sure where to begin. We can take our time and explore what feels most important.
This initial session is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for me as a therapist. The therapeutic relationship matters, and the most important thing to me is that that you feel comfortable and supported.
-
How many sessions you’ll need is unique to you. Some people come for a few sessions to work through something specific, while others prefer ongoing support over a longer period of time.
I offer sessions weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or on an as-needed basis. Together, we can decide on a rhythm that feels supportive and sustainable for you and we will identify your needs.
I also offer small group therapy experiences for those who are newer to therapy or who value connection and shared space alongside individual work.
There’s no fixed formula. what matters most is finding an approach that feels right for you and the season of life you are in.
-
No, you don’t need a referral from your GP to book a session with me.
As a counsellor, I’m not able to offer Medicare rebates under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). You’re welcome to book directly at any time.
If finances are a concern, please feel free to reach out, we can discuss available options together.

My approach is gentle and collaborative. As an integrative therapist, I tailor our sessions using various evidence-based practices suited to your needs. I blend narrative therapy, CBT, IFS therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness alongside nervous system-focused and body-aware practices.
With a background in yoga and Ayurveda, I gently integrate mindfulness and regulation tools to support whole-person healing. I work through a trauma-informed lens, viewing symptoms and coping patterns as natural adaptations shaped by your life experiences, not flaws.
My approach is deeply relational and intuitive, focused on creating safety, trust, and genuine human connection, always keeping our work grounded in what matters most to you and what season you are in.

You are also welcome to book a one-off initial session (60 mins) to see if this is the right approach for you.

To help make sure appointment spots are available for everyone, I keep a gentle cancellation policy in place. If you need to change or cancel your session, please give as much notice as possible, ideally at least 24 hours. Late cancellations under 24 hours are typically charged at the full fee, but I completely understand that serious illnesses and emergencies happen. If life throws you a curveball, just reach out so we can talk through what feels fair for your situation.

Research shows that online therapy is just as effective as meeting face-to-face. What matters most isn't sharing a physical room, but the genuine connection, safety, and trust we build together.
Online counselling allows you to engage in deep, gentle, and meaningful therapeutic work from the comfort of your own space. Because our focus is on your inner experience and felt sense, you can explore what is coming up for you wherever you feel most supported and grounded.
Many clients prefer online sessions for the ease, privacy, and convenience, finding that being in a quiet, familiar environment helps their nervous system settle—allowing them to feel safe, secure, and ready to open up.
